Women only  ·  21 and up

Somewhere to say the whole thing.

Confidher is a private community for women. Post what you're actually dealing with — dating, work, health, marriage, motherhood — and hear back from women who have been through it. Not strangers with opinions.

We're opening in small groups so the first rooms stay worth being in. Put your name down.

One email when your group opens. Nothing else.

Why this exists

Community gets harder to keep, right when you need it most.

Nothing dramatic happens. It just gets quieter, and then one day there's no one to ask.

Your closest friends moved, had kids, or got busy. The group chat went quiet without anyone deciding it should.

Distance

Therapy costs more than you have this month, or the waitlist is until spring.

Access

Social media isn't a place to be honest. Your coworkers are there. So is his sister.

Exposure

Friendship apps get you a coffee. They don't get you someone you'd call at 11pm.

Depth

How a post works

Everything arrives sealed.

Nothing on Confidher is public, searchable, or scrollable by anyone who isn't in your room. A post is opened by the women you shared it with, and no one else.

Relationships

He's wonderful on paper and I feel nothing. Is that a reason to end it, or a reason to stay and find out?

Career

I got the promotion I asked for and I've cried in the parking garage every day since. I can't say that to anyone at work.

Motherhood

Fourteen months in and I still don't sound like myself. Did it take this long for anyone else, or should I be worried?

Examples, written for this page. Real posts are only ever seen inside a room.

Rooms

Six rooms, because you're not in one season at a time.

Join as many as apply. Leave when they stop applying. What you post in one room doesn't follow you into another.

Single life

Dating, dry spells, red flags, and the friend who keeps setting you up badly.

Relationships

The stuff that's too small to break up over and too big to keep ignoring.

Career

Money, managers, asking for more, and deciding whether you still want it.

Health & fitness

Symptoms you've been told are normal, and doctors who didn't listen the first time.

Pregnancy

Trying, not trying, losing, and the first year nobody describes accurately.

Marriage

Year two and year twenty. In-laws, division of labor, and staying yourself.

Meetups

Then, if you want, in person.

Any member can put a meetup on the board. A walk, a run club, a bad movie, a Tuesday coffee. Small by design — most fill at six.

  • 01Post the plan: what, where, and how many people you want there.
  • 02Women in your area see it. They ask to come; you confirm who.
  • 03Details go out to the confirmed group only, the day before.
  • 04Everyone marks that they got home. Standard, not awkward.

Membership

Five dollars, and no advertisers in the room.

Members pay, so no one has to be the product. Your first post is free, before you decide anything.

Being clear about this

Confidher is not therapy, and we won't pretend otherwise.

This is a room full of women who have been where you are. That is genuinely valuable, and it is a different thing from clinical care. It doesn't diagnose anything, it isn't a crisis service, and it doesn't replace a doctor or a licensed therapist.

Our moderators are trained to notice when someone needs more than a room can give, and to point toward real help without making a scene about it.

When a room isn't the right place

Ongoing support
A licensed therapist. We keep a directory of low-cost and sliding-scale options by state.
Anything physical
Your doctor, even when you've been told before that it's nothing.
An emergency
Call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.
